Many, Many, questions have been asked about things problems with Stargate. This page is intended to answer some of the most asked questions, from the mouth of SGC Personal.

Question 1: In the Movie and First Episode the Gate caused the room to shake, why wasn't it shaking after they got back to Earth in the Episode "Children of the Gods Part 1"? (Download)

Question 2: In the first few episodes the arrival was a bit rough, now they walk threw the gate like steping across the room.

Question 3: How did Apohisis in "Children of the Gods" Aya in "Enigma" and Thor in "Small Victories" Redial an outgoing wormhole.

I'll let Thor answer this one, just take a look at what he is holding in "Small Victories." There is a device which obviously they keep conceded that would appear to have the function of establishing an out going wormhole to the last planet dialed. it is special in that it does not create the backwash of opening a manual dialed gate, at least in the last two episodes.
